LKG · 4+ YEARS

Confidence in
every new step.

LKG is where exploration begins to turn into understanding. Children start recognising letters and sounds, working with numbers, and speaking in fuller sentences — all while the joy of discovery stays firmly in place.

ABOUT THIS STAGE

Ready for a
little more structure.

By four, most children can follow simple instructions, sit with a task for longer, and are genuinely curious about letters, numbers and how things work. LKG introduces gentle structure alongside play — enough to build real academic readiness, without rushing childhood.

WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL BEGIN TO DEVELOP

Letters, numbers
and confidence.

PHONICS & EARLY LITERACY

Letter sounds and vocabulary

Phonics awareness and blending readiness build a foundation for reading, alongside a growing vocabulary.

EARLY NUMERACY

Number recognition and counting

Number concepts, patterns and simple logical activities are introduced through structured, hands-on tasks.

INDEPENDENCE & EXPRESSION

Following instructions, speaking clearly

Pre-writing practice, independent attempts and fuller sentences build both confidence and communication.

HOW LEARNING HAPPENS

Structured play,
real understanding.

Phonics and number activities are introduced through games, songs and hands-on materials — not repetition drills. Children are encouraged to attempt things independently, with a teacher close by to guide, not correct.
